Hi, My name is Vaishali Hegde. Today, I would like to share my story about how to start my English journey with Amazing talker. I'm a Commerce graduate and have three years of working experience. I studied in a local language school up to 12th standard. In college, I changed my medium of study from a local language school to an English medium school. In the beginning, it was hard for me to understand the subject, and my grades gradually dropped. So I started to learn English grammar and vocabulary. After a few months of struggling, I could understand the topics. I did well in exams. After graduation, I tried to go to metro cities. But unfortunately, I couldn't make it. So I worked in a small town. In that town, people were communicating in my mother tongue only. So I couldn't get a chance to practice English or exposure to talking in English. I got married and moved to a metro city. My dream was to get a job in a Big 4 company. So I have attended many interviews. But I couldn't clear it. Even though I had a solid knowledge of the core subjects, I failed to crack the interview because of my weak communication skills. Then I came to know the power of the English language. At the same time, my husband got the opportunity to work abroad. Then we moved to the USA. At that time, I was struggling to communicate and hardly express my feelings. It was necessary to speak in English. So I decided to improve my English speaking skills and searched online to find a private tutor to improve my English speaking skills. While searching online, I got to know about Amazing Talker. It offers one on one lessons and is fit your schedule, budget, and interests. Hereafter I finally started the Amazing Talker journey on 9th November. I booked a trial lesson with teacher Catherin. Before that, I texted her and told her my requirements. She texted me back and said to book a trial lesson to learn if we are a good teacher and learner match. The trial lesson was about 25 minutes. In that session, She evaluated my English level and suggested some materials. I liked her style of teaching and booked another 20 lessons. She is a lively and cheerful person. She encouraged me to speak in English. In her class, I can communicate easily without hesitation. We have gone through daily English conversations, news, current scenarios, Idioms, and Business conversations. She is helping me to prepare for an interview. Her experience of living in San Francisco has given me an understanding of American culture and communicating with native speakers. I have completed 12 classes with her and have learned so many things. My English is improving. Thanks to the teacher. But I need to improve more to get my dream job, Express my feelings, and travel to different places. I highly suggest taking English classes from Amazing talker. This whole learning experience made me feel like I got new wings. I'm flapping my wings to fly high. Thank you.
