I am Lei, Half-Japanese and half Filipino(日系人). I was born on January 7, and let my age be a mystery (I hope the birth year on my profile isn't shown) :D. I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. I'm a college undergrad. I am a positive person. Also, my motivation to teach English comes from a student who has a passion for learning the language. I started teaching English to pre-schoolers and elementary students from ages 3 to 7 years old when I migrated here to Japan 11 years ago. I have few pictures from my first day of teaching English, although, unfortunately, I cannot upload them due to capacity problems of the site. I taught a few adults as well, it was man to man. However, I stopped teaching man to man for I had an affright feeling. I can speak 3 languages, which will be English, Japanese, and Tagalog(language in the Philippines). I can read and write in Katakana and Hiragana. I'm still working with my Kanji(I can read more than I can write though). I know it's difficult, still, I like the 書き順. I can read and write Cyrillic (Russian Alphabet) and Hangul (Korean Alphabet). • Certification for Speech Power • Passed for VET or Versant English Test (automated language test) • TOEIC 950 • TESOL (currently taking) I’m a disciplined yet very friendly teacher. I can help you build your confidence & English level at the same time. I'd be willing to teach everything that I know for someone who will show me an interest in learning things, most especially the English language. I teach mainly the core language aspects which are "Comprehension, Vocabulary, and most of all Pronunciation", also, Idioms, most especially idioms that are used for business conversation.
