I have 30+ years of teaching experience with all ages. I specialize in teaching English for Conversation, reading and writing including grammar for proper pronunciation. I also teach Math terminology, Science and Social Studies to prepare students to succeed in the use of correct English in all areas. I also teach conversational English for travelers, and those who wish more assistance in knowing how to speak proper English in order to to navigate daily life in English speaking situation. 1. Conversational English- proper pronunciation techniques and rules of grammar are reinforced for teens and adults when using their English knowledge in conversations about a variety of topics. 2. Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Speaking, Reading and Writing In English to meet individual student needs. 3. English terminology for concepts in Math and Science. 4. Social Studies and using the English Language to understand the cultures, celebrations, and travel in a global society. I am a hands on active teacher in that I use a variety of materials and props to engage students of various ages, including younger students. I utilize various techniques to engage or re-engage students who need additional motivation to participate during class. I encourage students and give reinforcement. I informally assess student understanding during the lesson and make changes as needed to help the student have a better understanding. I provide individualized instruction.
