Hello! My name is Jillian and I'm originally from the United States. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures, in fact I enjoy learning new things in general! I enjoy holding real life conversations and helping students study for any kind of English they're likely to see in academics. I currently hold a certificate in TEFL, but I'm always open to learning new things and broadening my horizons. My teaching style is interactive and natural, I will listen to what you'd like to work on and incorporate that into our lessons. The best way to learn English is through practice and I will offer plenty of it! Some examples include, conversation, idioms, small talk, survival English, rapid conversation, listening skills, and vocabulary you're likely to hear in every day speech. Why should you spend money on me? I personally want you to succeed. I will do everything in my power to help you build your English skills and get to the place in life you'd like to be with it. Throughout our lessons we'll get to know more about each other and in due time they'll feel more like an extension of your daily life, instead of a simple lesson. I want to see you grow and thrive as a person, the English language being one step in that path. I do use resources outside of our regular lessons. Some examples being, Line, WhatsApp, homework on current events, Literature, movies, and music. Audio/Video Policy I do not do 'audio only' calls. A part of English is body language and I think it's an important part of learning it. I'm a friendly, interactive and fun teacher! I can help you build your confidence and English level at the same time. I like to mold each lesson specifically to the student, so learning will be made easy. If you need to cancel a class, please let me know 12 hours before the start. I'm very fluid with my scheduling and am willing to work with you to find a time that's perfect for your personal needs.
