I studied Information Technology which focuses mainly on Computer programming and Hardware servicing. So, I am not an English teacher by profession but teaching the English language has always been my passion. And I mean what I said in my video that I really love the language. 😊 I’ve been in the English Industry for approximately ‘8 YEARS’ now. So, you can really say that I’ve already mastered the ins and outs of the language. 😊 I worked in the call center for roughly 7 years and I’ve been teaching Chinese students online for about a year now. And ever since then, I find myself loving teaching. 😊 I’m one of Jehovah’s witnesses and because of that I had so many trainings on how to approach a person and how to get one’s character. I believe that’s really necessary to be able to help the student excel. Because every student has their own learning curves, so if a teacher doesn’t know how to adjust or can’t get one’s character, however intelligent that teacher is, will not be able to help the student. And that’s one of my strength now. I’m proud that I’m always getting ‘100 PERCENT’ review from my students. And that’s because of my teaching technique. 😊 I am also very patient because I was once in your shoe. It’s not an inborn skill. I learned it and worked hard to achieve this proficiency I have now. But my trainers and coaches also played a big role. I thank them so much for being so patient with me for years. And that mindset is now helping me to become the best English teacher I can be as well. I’m very excited and I’m more than willing to share you what I learned for years. 😊 Many students have been benefited with my style of teaching. I let the student talk most of the time then if I hear something, I help him notice and correct that mistake right away instead of me correcting his mistake (but I guarantee you, I know when to help 😊). That helps the student remember his own mistake and the things he needs to work on. This has been proven effective by many teachers and I can definitely attest to the effectiveness of this style. 😊 There are so many interesting and fun things I prepared that we can talk about.
